One of my quickest and easiest go-to’s is Mexico’s most popular tequila cocktail, the Paloma. La Paloma is Spanish for The Dove and is a great tasting, refreshing cocktail that is sure to be a hit at your next get together. Tequila with citrus flavors will keep everyone wanting more!
How to Make:
- 2oz Tequila
- 4oz Grapefruit soda
- 1 Grapefruit
- 1 Lime
- Ice
Muddle 2oz tequila with 1 grapefruit wedge and 1 lime wedge. Muddling the tequila with the grapefruit and lime releases the fruits natural oils or added depth of flavor.
Fill highball glass with ice, garnish with grapefruit and lime slices, strain tequila into glass, and top with grapefruit soda. Drink and repeat!
Quick Tip: When hosting a group of people, adjust the recipe above by changing ounces to cups for your measuring. You can also muddle several servings of tequila at one time and leave what you haven’t poured in your shaker for quicker refills when they come asking.
